Joint-Stock Company ZARUBEZHENERGOSTROY (OA ZES) of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Russia was founded in 1975 and is the successor of Glavzagranenergo of the Ministry of Power Industry and Electrification of the USSR. AO ZES appointed by the Ministry of fuel and Energy of the Russian Federation and Joint-Stock Company of Power Industry and Electrification (RAO EES of Russia) implements foreign economic activities in electric power industry. During it’s activities it has contributed to the construction in more than 30 countries of Europe, Africa, Asia and America of more than 240 Power Plants with a total installed capacity of 40 mln. kW, over 23 thousand kilometers of Transmission Lines and 0,4-750 kV Substations with total capacity of 16 thousand MVA.

Having considerable experience of Russian specialists in erection and operation of Power Plants at its disposal, taking over the whole scope of production and research potential of Russian power-engineering industry, AO ZARUBEZHENERGOSTROY carries out independently, as well as in consortium with other firms, the complete set of works related to the construction abroad of the following Projects:

thermal, hydraulic, gas-turbine, diesel-electric stations;
hydraulic engineering projects;
transmission Lines;
transformer Substations;
load dispatching centres of power systems control; and executes:
design, survey and engineering works;
supply of technological and electrical & technical equipment, machines, mechanisms and materials for the projects construction and erection of power installations, spare parts;
construction, erection work and commissioning;
operation, repair work and modernization of power installations;
consulting and training services for personnel;
selection and secondment of specialists and workmen for entire range of works and services during construction and operation power installations.

And also carries out:

Completion, inspection of equipment at own completion base, equipped by lifting-transport mechanisms, railway and road links;

Certification of equipment, fulfilment of custom formalities for export and import of equipment and materials.

Electric Power equipment, supplied by AO ZARUBEZHENERGOSTROY is manufactured by the biggest Russian Enterprises of high reputation in the world including “Power Machines”, “Machine-Building Factory ZIO-Podolsk”, “Energomash (Chekhov)-CHZEM”, "Belenergomash - BZEM", "Gazenergoservis" and others.
